Camp Mennoscah : <카š> <카š> <카š>

We are having the best time ever!  It may be hot, but fun is plentiful and you wouldn’t believe what all we’re learning.  Just talk to everyone who has already been to camp this summer!  There’s still time to join us—contact us at 620-297-3290 or campmnomennowdc.org for more information.  The summer staff fridge is on the fritz and cold drinks and frozen treats sure help combat the warmish nature of the work they do.  If you have an extra fridge with a working freezer (or a spare air hose reel), we’d love to hear from you.

WDC annual conference:

The opening worship on August 7 at the WDC annual conference at Bethel College Mennonite Church will feature several young adult speakers who will share their perspectives on the theme, Becoming a New Humanity, based on Eph. 2:11-22.  This program is open to anyone interested, whether registered for the weekend or not.  Come and be encouraged by the words of the coming generation.  Something new:  Discovery Day - five pre-conference options that require separate registration.  See www.mennowdc.org or church office for forms.

NEWS FROM MCC:

Mennonite Central Committee’s Washington Office invites congregations to participate in its Abundant Life: Economic Justice for All Campaign.  In this time of economic crisis, please consider taking one or more of the following Sundays to pray, reflect and act for economic justice for all.
